2016-17 Best Hospitals List
For the twenty-seventh year, U.S. News and World Report (@usnews) released the best hospitals list. The 2016-17 rankings include hospitals from around the country known for their excellence in procedures, conditions, and specialties. Congratulations to Mayo Clinic (@MayoClinic) Cleveland Clinic (@ClevelandClinic) Massachusetts General Hospital (@MassGeneral) Johns Hopkins Hospital (@HopkinsMedicine) and UCLA Medical Center (@UCLAHealth.)

The 2016 Health Care’s Most Wired Survey Results
Hospital & Health Network Magazine (@hhnmag) and Health Forum (@HealthForumNews) published its most wired list. The list includes the following categories: Health Care’s Most Wired, The Innovator Awards, The Most Wired Advanced, The Most Wired Rural and Small and The Most Improved. The list is alphabetical and includes the number of hospitals and number of beds each healthcare facility owns. Congratulations to the three winners of the Innovator Award: Texas Hospital Association | Austin (@texashospitals), St. Clair Hospital | Pittsburg (@StClairHospital), and Holy Name Medical Center | Teaneck, New Jersey (@HolyNameMedCtr.)

Top 50 Best Value Dual MBA & Health Management Degrees of 2016
In the United States, healthcare is 1/6 of the economy. Careers pertaining to healthcare are expected to continue increase in the next ten years. The formula for managing a good healthcare system continues to evolve including corporations and not-for-profit agencies. If you want to continue to work in the field of healthcare or you are a students looking to enter, earning a dual MBA and Health Management is a smart way to go. Value Colleges (@ValueColleges) compiled this list of the top 50 colleges and universities offering this dual degree when considering these three factors: affordability, educational quality, and job market success. Congrats to the University of Alabama at Birmingham (@UofAlabama), UCLA (@UCLA), and University of California Berkeley (@UCBerkeley) for rounding out the top three.

Best Places to Work in Healthcare – 2016
Modern Healthcare (@modrnhealthcr) released its 2016 Best Places to Work in Healthcare list. This comprehensive list of 100 companies is in alphabetical order, but the ranked order will be announced at the annual “Workplace of the Future Conference in New Orleans on October 6. Congratulations to Impact Advisors (@ImpactAdvisors) for making the list for the seventh year in a row and Health Catalyst (@HealthCatalyst) for making the list for the last four years! In addition, there will be four awards distributed. The Healthiest Award will be given to one provider and one supplier who showcases health and wellness through their benefits plan. The Millennial Award will go to two employers who have the most engaged and happy millennials on staff.
