According to the 2016 Healthcare IT Market Report, while the number of people leaving for a higher salary has remained constant year-over-year, those leaving to seek more challenging or interesting work have ballooned from 3% of last year’s survey participants to 11% of respondents this year.

Summary:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospital revenue cycle or IT role directly impacting hospital billing related services is required.
Education
Knowledge of revenue cycle business functions and hospital claims or IT support of revenue cycle and hospital claims at a level normally obtained through completion of a Bachelor’s degree, but obtained through relevant work experience in a healthcare setting is required.
- Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Claims & Remittance certification is required.
