Our HITECH Answers website went live in April 2009, a mere six weeks after the passing of the HITECH Act. From the start, our goal was to provide a private web-based subscription model for physicians and organizations seeking vendor neutral guidance and analysis of the HIITECH Act.
.
In the last year and a half we’ve built an in-depth library of resources for our subscribers to access, covering topics like the Final Rule, meaningful use, HIPAA and others related to the act. We’ve even tackled subjects like Medicare RAC audits and social media for healthcare.
.
In January, we will be expanding our subscription to include:
.
a. Weekly live webcasts to keep updated on Meaningful Use.
b. Expanding our education focus to include hospitals and specialists.
c. Special live guest webcasts from industry experts on topics like ICD-10 migration, SaaS, changes to HIPAA, contract negotiation and more.
d. Live vendor demonstrations subscribers can choose to attend and watch anonymously.
e. Case studies and best practices for EHR implementation.
.
From now until December 31, 2010 Eligible Professionals and Hospitals under the HITECH Act can qualify for a free subscription. Learn more here or contact us for more information.
.
2011 will be a busy time for EHR but also confusing. Getting vendor neutral information on something as critical as an EHR implementation and qualifying for HITECH Act incentives will be vital in making informed decisions.
