Checking in on our Marketplace Event Calendar we find some big events scheduled after the holiday. See if you can’t fit any of these in this summer.

Panasonic’s 2012 Healthcare Technology Symposium will bring together key decision makers from all facets of the healthcare industry in a forum that is both educational and enjoyable. The Symposium will be held in Hollywood Florida from July 17-19 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. Event information promises topics of key issues affecting successful HC technology implementation, visualization solutions for enhanced patient care, productivity and patient satisfaction, and peer best practices and technology trends.

The Healthcare Analytics Symposium & Expo will be held in Chicago Illinois this year on July 24-25. The event is marketed for senior executives at hospitals, health systems and payers. The theme and topics will center on big-data analytics and its potential to revolutionize the healthcare industry. The use of healthcare analytics and how it can improve clinical outcomes and increase operation efficiency.

On July 25-27 in Boston you can attend the mHealth World Congress where mobile technologies and initiatives are transforming health care. This year the 4th Annual Congress is co-located with the World Congress Leadership Summit on Telemedicine, the mHealthInnovation Exchange, and the Corporate Research Group Managed Healthcare Forum on IT and Future of Managed Care.

For the past 109 years, the National Medical Association (NMA) has conducted its Annual Convention & Scientific Assembly, the nation’s foremost conference devoted to medical science and African American health. This year the NMA Annual Convention will convene from July 28 –August 1, 2012 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The theme is paradigm shift, equipping physicians for a new health landscape.

Finally, the HIT Policy and Standard committee’s will meet. As alway the you can attend the meeting virtually. The HIT Policy Committee meets on July 10. The HIT Standard Committee meets on July 19.
