FCC Awards Additional $42.7 Million in Round 2 of COVID-19 Telehealth Program

The Federal Communications Commission approved an additional 68 applications for funding commitments totaling $42,702,383 for Round 2 of its COVID-19 Telehealth Program. This is the FCC’s fifth funding announcement of approved Round 2 applications, bringing the total to over $208 million awarded to health care providers in each state, territory, and the District of Columbia.


HHS Is Releasing $9 Billion in Provider Relief Fund Payments

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Health Resources and Services Administration, announced the distribution of approximately $9 billion in Provider Relief Fund Phase 4 payments to health care providers who have experienced revenue losses and expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
