I would recommend job seekers in the HIT space, especially consultants, keep their eyes and ears open at all times for their next role, regardless of their current situation. Additionally, keep your LinkedIn profile updated with each project, because recruiters and account executives often use LinkedIn as their main sourcing tool when searching for new candidates. Keeping LinkedIn updated with information about your credentials, certifications, and any training or build experience will attract more traffic to your profile and make you more appealing for employers who are considering reaching out to you.

Sr. IT Project Director Healthcare

The IT Project Director is responsible for leading, planning, managing and directing multiple complex projects consisting of one or more project teams. Successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling, team building, maintaining working relationships with client, and functional areas outside of IT. This person will be required to achieve the objectives of concurrent projects, with enterprise-wide impact. Responsible for insuring all project managers adhere to the project methodology and assists in training project managers and staff on project management approach. This person will allocate staff and budget resources as needed to achieve the objectives of one or more projects any of which could span multiple areas and business functions.
Epic EMR Project Management experience is preferred.
