The 6th annual CMS & Health Level Seven International (HL7®) Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) Connectathon is a collaborative experience that will bring together health care stakeholders for three days of learning, testing, and innovation.

Join developers, programmers, technology experts and analysts to learn about and test emerging FHIR Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and supporting FHIR Implementation Guides (IGs).

Technology implementers: If you have leveraged HL7 FHIR to build a server or application, they want you to bring your implementation to the event to test with them.

Healthcare payers and providers using third-party software: They encourage you to attend and share in the dialogue about how your implementations are going.

Why Attend?

Policy Updates: Virtual sessions will share the connection between ongoing FHIR initiatives and industry’s progress toward interoperability between healthcare payers and providers

Explore FHIR Innovations: Track Highlights will be held virtually to share FHIR project updates, real world implementations, lessons learned and industry best practices.

Engage with FHIR Experts: If you have a healthcare application to test, join us in person to test your system’s use of FHIR Implementation Guides that support Burden Reduction, Patient Access, and other use cases to advance connectivity between payers and providers. A full track list can be found here. *In-person registration will require approval. Participants who are testing will be approved first. Observers will be admitted as space allows on a first come, first served basis.

Collaborate with Peers: Connect with developers, technology experts, and health IT professionals to exchange insights and advance interoperability.
