The Purpose of the Survey

The purpose of Clinical Architecture’s annual Healthcare Data Quality Survey is to measure: the perceived quality of the data in healthcare, the impact of data quality on individual and collective objectives, and the factors contributing to poor quality. We do this across different healthcare market segments since each segment creates, collects, uses, and disseminates the data differently.

  1. Do we as an industry realize we have a data quality problem? Do we have confidence that the data we have collected about our patients is reliable?
  2. Do we understand the impact the patient data has on our individual, enterprise, and industry objectives?
  3. Do we know what factors are contributing to the degradation of our patient data so that we can address them?
  4. How does the industry feel about the quality of patient data from external organizations and whether they are willing to integrate it?

Healthcare professionals are invited to participate in the 2026 Data Quality Survey. The survey measures how data quality impacts clinical decision-making, operations, analytics, and information exchange, based on insights from the people who work with healthcare data every day.

Business leaders, clinicians, analysts, and other professionals from health systems, health plans, life sciences and pharmaceutical organizations, academia, government, public health, and healthcare technology vendors are encouraged to share their perspectives.

The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and will close on Friday, March 27. Results will be shared publicly.
