As Vice President of Innovation, Todd is accountable for leveraging Atrium Health’s assets and people to accelerate innovation. He collaborates with leaders at all levels of the organization to develop and implement a broad innovation framework that is strategically aligned with the organization’s vision and strategy, and that will enable Atrium Health to reach the next level of breakthrough and impactful innovation.

Todd is an innovator and entrepreneur. He has focused on innovation for more than 20 years, by not only working but learning from organizations and colleagues at Cisco, Siemens, McKesson, GE and Intermountain Healthcare. He has educated teams in the practical application of innovation theory, methods and tools to improve innovation outcomes and impact for consumers and companies alike. He most recently led Intermountain Healthcare’s Transformation Lab overseeing internal and external partner collaboration and innovation strategy.

Dr. Joshua Liu is a physician turned entrepreneur. He is currently the co-founder/CEO of SeamlessMD, which provides the leading Digital Patient Engagement platform for health systems to engage, monitor and stay connected with patients across healthcare journeys.

Joshua graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Toronto. During his medical training, he co-led a research project at UHN on hospital readmissions and sat on UHN’s physician advisory group for post-hospital discharge follow up. As a result, Joshua was inspired to develop technology to better support patients and prevent adverse outcomes such as a readmission – which ultimately led to him co-founding SeamlessMD.
