Medicomp Systems (@MedicompSys), a physician-driven provider of clinically contextual patient data solutions, announced a new solution to monitor and present hierarchical condition codes (HCCs) at the point of care. This novel functionality, which is powered by Medicomp’s Quippe Clinical Data Engine and Quippe clinical documentation solutions, helps providers participating in Medicare Advantage plans to automate their Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) scoring to ensure accurate reimbursement.

eMDs Launches Aria Health Services Line for Healthcare Organizations to Reduce Administrative Burdens and Save Time
At HIMSS, eMDs (@emds) unveiled Aria Health Services. Philips launches IntelliSpace Epidemiology Solution at HIMSS 2019
Royal Philips (@Philips), a global leader in health technology, announced the launch of IntelliSpace Epidemiology, a solution that optimizes the detection of healthcare associated infections (HAIs) in the hospital. Philips IntelliSpace Epidemiology is the only decision-support solution in the U.S. that combines clinical informatics and genomic sequencing information from pathogenic bacteria, aiming to efficiently assist infection control prevention teams in identifying infection transmissions.

Google Cloud Announcements from HIMSS19
At HIMSS, Google Cloud (@googlecloudannounced several new customers and expanding partnerships with organizations like Health Level 7 (@HL7) and Flywheel. These announcements further expand Google Cloud’s growing footprint in the healthcare space and continued momentum in helping healthcare organizations uncover meaningful insights from their data, improve patient care and streamline operations by providing access to technology tools and solutions like machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Chrome Enterprise also announced a new partnership with Imprivata (@Imprivata), a healthcare IT security company, to enable Chrome OS and Chromebooks to work seamlessly with Imprivata’s single sign-on and virtual desktop access platform for healthcare. This integration allows healthcare providers to give patients access to information, entertainment applications or communications platforms through managed Google Play and the Chrome Browser.

Google Cloud announced the Healthcare Datathon Launcher, providing organizations with a secure computing environment to host datathon events with the goal to collaboratively tackle data challenges and quickly iterate on new solutions or products.
