HITECH Answers Launches New Hub Site on Revenue Cycle Management

All-icons-1Many in the health IT community know us for our coverage of EHR adoption and meaningful use. We’ve been reporting and publishing articles on HITECH Answers since the passing of the HITECH Act in the Spring of 2009. A couple years ago we launched HIE Answers to address news and issues on health information exchange. On this site you can find continual coverage on what the ONC is doing to advance interoperability, as well as other news and articles on HIE.

Extending our “Answers” concept, we have now officially launched RCM Answers, our latest community hub site dedicated to educating healthcare providers and other stakeholders on issues impacting revenue cycle management. The site is sponsored by ZirMed.

RCM Answers will help keep providers up to date on news from federal agencies on ICD-10, clinical reporting, regulatory issues and more. Like our two existing hub sites, we will also rely on the community-at-large for contributions related to ICD-10 implementation, medical billing, readmission penalties, analytics and pop health, and other topics.

If you’re interested in keeping up with our RCM Answers coverage, we offer three ways to engage:

  1. Sign up to receive our weekly RCM Answers News Digest
  2. Engage with us in our new RCM Answers Group on LinkedIn
  3. Follow us on our new RCM Answers Twitter

And now that we have three “Answers” hub sites, we’ve launched a fourth where our readers and followes can find an aggregation of our content. Check out HealthIT Answers for all of our published articles, our popular HIT event calendar, white papers and more.

While our HealthcareNOWradio.com website doesn’t actually say “answers”, the content does in the form of streaming Internet radio and podcasts on a wide variety of subjects related to health IT. On the site you can find re-broadcasts of current and past shows including our two newest – HIPAA Chat with host Steve Spearman and This Just In with HIT Advisor Justin Barnes. We hope you’ll tune in.

So what’s next for us? We hope to launch mHealth Answers post HIMSS.  Look for our next hub site by June.
