All ears and eyes are focussed on the HIT Policy Committee for their update on Meaningful Use.
The Healthcare Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP) ARRA deliverables will be approved and delivered to ONC on July 8. The HIT Standards Committee Workgroups will finish their initial naming of standards and certification criteria by July 15.
The HIT Policy Committee Meeting will be held on July 16, 2009 at 10am EST. As always you can participate via webconference. Look for the Meaningful Use workgroup to present its modified recommendations after review of the public comments.
On the conference front, two fall events are opening for resgistration.
- The Health Care Connectivity Summit 09 will be held in September in Baltimore, register by July 10th for the early bird discount.
- AMIA Annual Symposium will be held in November in San Francisco, online resgistration is will begin July15. Early bird discount runs through August 27.
