3M and Verily Life Sciences Collaborate to Develop Population Health Measurement Technology for Healthcare Providers and Payers
3M Health Information Systems (@3MHISNews), a business of 3M, and Verily Life Sciences (formerly Google Life Sciences), an Alphabet company, announced that they have entered into a strategic agreement to develop new population health measurement technology for managing clinical and financial performance. The joint technology platform will be designed to analyze quality performance data across healthcare delivery systems and patient populations, and deliver meaningful information that can be used to promote real and sustainable improvements in healthcare quality and cost.

Wolters Kluwer to Acquire Emmi
Wolters Kluwer Health (@Wolters_Kluwerannounced that it has signed an agreement to acquire Emmi Solutions (@EmmiSolutions), a U.S. provider of patient engagement solutions, for $170 million in cash. Founded in 2002, Emmi offers an enterprise-wide, integrated, and multi-media patient engagement platform with high quality, peer-reviewed content and personalized communications that span the spectrum of care from prevention, to treatment, to patient follow-up. Emmi’s offerings are a natural extension to Wolters Klewer’s existing Clinical Solutions portfolio, in particular to UpToDate in decision support and Lexicomp and Medi-Span in drug information.

US CareNet Announces HC360 Technologies, Healthcare Technology for Care Management
