Intermountain Healthcare and Cerner Corporation have announced a multi-year strategic partnership. The multi-year partnership will implement the Cerner electronic medical record and revenue cycle solutions across all of Intermountain’s hospitals and clinics.

Greenway Medical Technologies announced a definitive agreement which will result in the combination of the businesses of Greenway and Vitera Healthcare Solutions. Following the closing of the transaction, the Vitera and Greenway businesses will serve nearly 13,000 medical organizations and 100,000 providers.

Clinigence, a next-generation clinical business intelligence technology provider, recently announced a partnership with ePatientFinder. Through this alliance, ePatientFinder will leverage Clinigence’s technology to streamline the process of connecting eligible patients with clinical trials and preventative medical procedures.

Kyruus,Inc., a healthcare Big Data company and provider of patient access and referral optimization solutions, has announced a business development partnership with athenahealth, a provider of cloud-based services for EHR, practice management and care coordination, as part of their “More Disruption Please” (MDP) program. Kyruus will collaborate with athenahealth’s growing network of about 44,000 providers to optimize the matching of patients with specialist providers. The solution enables provider organizations to maximize the productivity of their physician staffs while reducing patient wait times and referral outmigration.

Foothold Technology, a provider of EHR software for behavioral healthcare and human service providers, announced that the Foothold AWARDS software application has achieved successful testing of data exchanges with several health information exchanges (HIEs) and is now fully interoperable. This success marks the beginning of Foothold’s Interoperability Center, which is enabling healthcare providers in any Health Home or other coordinated care model across the country to participate in safe, secure, HIPAA-compliant data exchanges as required by the Affordable Care Act of 2010.

drchrono, developer of a free Electronic Medical Record platform on the iPad, iPhone and cloud, has released its new application for iOS7. This is the first mobile EHR to support Apple’s new iOS7 operating system. drchrono’s free mobile EHR app allows doctors to connect with patients and run their practice, which includes sharing medical records, electronic prescribing, medical billing, and patient management, all from the iPad. It will now support the iOS7 operating system, which lets physicians share files via iPad or iPhone with their patients via iOS7’s AirDrop at the point of care.

SuccessEHS’s SuccessEHS 7.0, as well as SuccessEHS’s MediaDent 9.0, have been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. Both of these electronic health record (EHR) software products are compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

First Insight Corporation announced that MaximEyes EHR software, Version 1.5.0.0, is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition criteria and was certified as an EHR Module by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable Eligible Provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The ONC 2014 Edition criteria supports both Stage 1 and 2 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Elsevier, a scientific, technical and medical information products and services, announced that Elsevier’s ExitCare has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This EHR module is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Elsevier’s ExitCare is an enterprise-wide solution for evidence-based patient education and discharge instructions.
