Kyruus Reports Monumental Market Share Gains in 2018 with More Than 225,000 Providers at Nearly 500 Hospitals Nationwide Now on Its Platform
Kyruus, a provider of search and scheduling solutions for health systems, announced its results for 2018, a pivotal year in which the company doubled its year-over-year revenue for the third time in a row. Kyruus now manages over 225,000 providers on its industry-leading patient access and provider data management platform – a five-fold increase since 2015. The company added several of the leading health systems to its customer base in 2018, most recently announcing that Geisinger is now utilizing the company’s digital solution on its website. Kyruus also retained 100% of its renewable customer base and frequently expanded its work with existing customers over the course of the year.

The company’s 2019 financial year, which ended January 31, delivered a multitude of successes and recognition from its customers, venture capital firms and industry experts.

Health Catalyst Secures up to $100 Million with Financing Led By OrbiMed
Health Catalyst, Inc. (@HealthCatalyst), a next-generation data, analytics and improvement company, announced the closing of a Series F equity and debt funding round led by OrbiMed, a leading healthcare public and private market investment firm. This equity and debt funding will provide Health Catalyst with access to up to $100 million in capital. Several existing investors including Sequoia Capital, Norwest Venture Partners, Sands Capital Ventures, UPMC Enterprises and Kaiser Permanente Ventures also contributed to the financing, which lifts Health Catalyst’s value above $1 billion.

WellSky Acquires HCS, Entering Long-Term Acute Care and Inpatient Behavioral Health Markets
WellSky (@wellskyhealth), a health and community care technology company backed by TPG Capital, and Health Care Software, Inc. (HCS), a provider of integrated clinical and financial IT software for long-term and post-acute care providers, announced that WellSky has acquired HCS. HCS’s software serves providers across the spectrum of care — including long-term acute care hospitals (LTACH) and inpatient psychiatric, inpatient rehab, senior living, and long-term care facilities. With HCS, WellSky expands its extensive suite of solutions to serve an even broader range of care settings.

Prevalent Acquires 3GRC to Enhance Third-Party Risk Management Platform and Expand Internationally
Prevalent, Inc. (@prevalentnet), the only unified platform for managing third-party risk, has announced its acquisition of UK-based risk and compliance experts 3GRC. With this acquisition Prevalent plans to build upon its products, services and expertise while expanding its presence to the UK. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
