ZOLL® Medical Corporation (@zoll_rescuenet), an Asahi Kasei Group Company that manufactures medical devices and related software solutions, announced the rebranding of its accounts receivable (AR) software solutions for the healthcare industry to ZOLL AR Boost™. Payor Logic’s solutions became part of ZOLL’s software portfolio when ZOLL acquired the company at the end of 2018.

Health tech startup PeerWell secures $6.5 million in Series A funding to help patients prepare for orthopedic surgery and recover faster
TechStartups reports that PeerWell (@peerwell), an end-to-end platform that helps patients with musculoskeletal conditions avoid or optimize for surgery, announced it has raised $6.5 million Series A round of funding to accelerate expansion as compensation programs and health plans utilize PeerWell to tackle the $25 billion+ orthopedic surgery market. The round was led by OMERS Ventures and joined by existing investors, XSeed Capital.

Veradigm™ (@Veradigm ) an Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX) business unit, announced that it has entered into a long-term strategic partnership with Komodo Health to advance life sciences research. Initially the partnership will focus on linking Allscripts’ industry-leading ambulatory EHR data with Komodo’s Healthcare Map, which contains encounter data from more than 150 private and public payers.
