Lightbeam Health Solutions, Inc.@LightbeamHealth, an end-to-end population health management solutions, announced the acquisition of Browsersoft, Inc. Browsersoft is a privately held health information exchange (HIE) solution provider for hospitals, health systems, states, communities and other stakeholders within the US and various global markets. Browersoft’s OpenHRE™ solution enables healthcare communities to exchange data from disparate systems enabling providers to have the most comprehensive, up-to-date patient information resulting in better coordinated care, improved quality and reduced costs. The platform has been deployed in over sixty (60) communities within the US and in various global markets and Browsersoft has successfully demonstrated their capabilities in multiple IHE Connectathons both in the US and Europe.

McKesson @McKesson_HIT announced the Department of Defense, @DeptofDefense,  and the Defense Health Agency (DHA) has awarded a $139 million, five-year contract for RelayHealth’s patient engagement and interoperable secure messaging solutions. The solutions will serve the Military Health System’s (MHS) patients, physicians, physician assistants, nurse case managers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dentists, and other members of the care team. RelayHealth @RelayHealth helps providers improve access to care for DoD beneficiaries, advance care team coordination across provider care settings and enhance patient engagement through secure messaging, educational content and care management tools that improve access to care team members and health data.

Simavita @Simavita, a leader in the digital healthcare sector, announced an agreement with PointClickCare @PointClickCare, a cloud-based software platform for the senior care continuum, for system interoperability between Simavita’s Smart Incontinence Management (SIM™) and PointClickCare’s electronic health record (EHR) platform. Simavita and PointClickCare will collaborate to jointly develop a solution to provide interoperability between Simavita’s SIM™ solution and the PointClickCare EHR platform. The parties will also work together to deploy the integrated solution and their respective technologies to the aged care sector in North America.

NTT DATA, Inc., an IT services provider, announced that it has been selected by Ernest Health to expand implementation of the NTT DATA Optimum Clinicals suite in four facilities in Texas, Ohio, and New Mexico. NTT DATA and Ernest Health have been collaborating since 2013 in the development of software applications to provide the Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) markets with a specialty EHR solution. After initial implementation, Ernest Health plans to continue rolling out this enhanced post acute care clinical suite to its other facilities.

eClinicalWorks @eClinicalWorks, has announced that CityMD, an urgent care provider in the greater New York City metro area, is live with eClinicalWorks EHR solution for its approximately 300 providers in 52 locations. Use of this technology will aid care coordination, allowing critical information to be accessible at the point of care, regardless of location. CityMD is utilizing the eClinicalWorks 10e EHR to streamline and automate processes between practice locations and to promote care coordination while reducing costs. The software incorporates patient engagement tools including the eClinicalWorks Patient Portal.
