Nat’e Guyton Named Chief Nursing Officer for Spok, Inc.

The Sequoia Project elects MRO’s David Borden to Board of Directors

Grafton Board of Directors Announces New CEO
Grafton Integrated Health Network (Grafton) (@GraftonNetwork) announced that its board of directors has chosen James (Jamie) Stewart as the organization’s next chief executive officer. Jamie, who currently serves as Chief Administrator Officer, will succeed Jim Gaynor on June 30, 2016.
HIMSS EHR Association elects Practice Fusion’s Chief Medical Officer as Vice Chair
Practice Fusion (@PracticeFusion) announced the election of their Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Informatics, Richard Loomis, MD, as the next Vice Chair of the HIMSS Electronic Health Record Association (EHRA). Dr. Loomis will serve a one year term beginning in July.

Electronic Health Record Association Annual Elections Bring In New Leaders and Retain Experienced Leadership
The Electronic Health Record (EHR) Association (@EHRAssociation), a trade association of companies that provide the vast majority of EHRs to hospitals and physicians across the US, announced new leadership for the coming year after their annual elections in May. Two new Executive Committee members, Hans J. Buitendijk, M.Sc., FHL7, Senior Strategist, Standards and Regulations at Cerner, and Mike Marchlik, Vice President, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs at McKesson Technology Solutions, were elected to two-year terms. Catherine M. DesRoches, DrPH, Joins OpenNotes as Executive Director
Prominent health policy and public health researcher, Catherine M. DesRoches, DrPH, is joining the growing OpenNotes (@myopennotes) team and the Harvard Medical School faculty. As Executive Director, DesRoches will lead the OpenNotes movement toward national adoption of the practice of providing patients with ready and secure access to a fully transparent medical record, including the clinician’s medical notes.
