Mark McClellan Appointed to West Health Institute and West Health Policy Center Boards of Directors
Former head of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Mark B. McClellan, MD, PhD, has been appointed to the boards of directors of the Gary and Mary West Health Institute (@WestHealth) in La Jolla, California and the Gary and Mary West Health Policy Center in Washington, D.C.

Carequality Taps Dave Cassel to Lead Industry Initiative Driving Interoperability Among Health Information Exchange Networks

Dr. Murray Reicher Named CEO at DR Systems
Dr. Murray Reicher has been named CEO of DR Systems, Inc. (@DRSystems), where he succeeds Rick Porritt, who has retired after 20 years with the company. Dr. Reicher co-founded DR Systems in 1992 and has been instrumental in the company’s growth to become an industry leader in PACS, RIS, EHR and medical image exchange.

ONC Gets New Chief Medical Officer
ONC Karen DeSalvo reported in a shared email that Dr. Thomas Mason will be joining ONC as the new Chief Medical Officer, effective February 23, 2015. Tom will lead and champion clinical oversight of ONC programs and clinical coordination within ONC. He will also regularly engage with physician organizations.

National Leader in Health Information Technology Named CEO of Health Sciences South Carolina

Heather Rone Joins Delphinus as Clinical Affairs VP
