The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services eHealth initiative aligns health information technology (Health IT) and electronic standards programs. Together these eHealth initiatives will help the health care industry deliver higher quality care and reduce costs. The CMS eHealth Summit programs include:

On Friday August 2nd the 2013 eHealth Summit will be webcast. At the summit CMS wants to hear from key industry thought leaders on specific eHealth issues, challenges, and successful models. Panelists will also reflect on the present and potential future utilization of health IT. The day’s panels will include:
