WEDI Announces Agenda for National Conference

Virtual event to explore HHS interoperability rules, FHIR integration, changes in telehealth policy

WEDI (@WEDIonline), the nation’s leading nonprofit authority on the use of health IT to create efficiencies in health care information exchange and a statutory advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced the agenda and logistics for its WEDI National Conference – taking place virtually from October 16-22.

Dr. Donald Rucker, National Coordinator for Health Information Technology at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will host a 60-minute fireside chat on day two of the conference during which he will field questions from the audience about a variety of topics pertinent to current ONC initiatives.

A pre-conference special Attachments workshop kicks-off the event on October 16 and will explore implementation and CAQH CORE updates, the use of FHIR on workflows and more – followed by virtual WEDI Workgroup meetings taking place on the October 19.

The WEDI National Conference is open to all interested health care stakeholders across provider, payer, vendor and government entities. Both WEDI members and non-members can register online and can view the full schedule here.
