She has over 35 years of software development, system implementation and training, and technical support, and 15 of which spent in the medical and health IT fields. She was also editor of The Incentives Roadmap®The Meaningful Use of Certified Technology: Stage 1. She has been an analyst on the HITECH Act for Answers Media Comany from inception and writes for and edits our News & Updates. She posts regularly on topics related to the health IT industry, CMS programs, and practice workflow. Jim Tate is a nationally recognized expert on the CMS EHR Incentive Program, certified technology and meaningful use. He brings a unique combination of skills to successfully address the complex and changing issues surrounding the “meaningful use of EHR certified technology” for Stage 1 and beyond. He is an accomplished project manager in the development and implementation of both EHR and Practice Management systems and has worked with over 100 Health Information Technology vendors. Jim is a Subject Matter Expert on Project Management and Implementation of EHRs in support of the CMS Regional Extension Centers and a frequent editorial resource for numerous Health IT publications.
