The conflict stems from multiple policy changes on behalf of CMS that lacked adequate input from patient, ACO, and provider communities.
CMS has updated the list of eCQMs that are fully specified and are available to be used for the 2020 performance period in the Quality Payment Program, which were finalized in the Medicare PFS Final Rule.
CMS has updated the “Explore Measures” tool on the Quality Payment Program website for the 2019 performance period. The website now includes 2019 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) measures and activities for the four performance categories.
CMS recently updated the Electronic Clinical Quality Improvement (eCQI) Resource Center website based on user feedback. It is the one-stop shop for the most current resources to support electronic clinical quality improvement.
