Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield and Freeman Health System Agree to New Multi-Year Partnership
Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield (Anthem) and Freeman Health System have signed a new multi-year agreement that ensures all Anthem members in the region will continue to have full in-network access to Freeman hospitals, facilities, and health care professionals. Freeman operates hospitals, urgent care clinics, and additional healthcare facilities in Joplin and Neosho.
Humana Announces New Agreements to Expand Specialized Care Programs for Patients Living with Musculoskeletal Conditions
Leading health and well-being company Humana Inc. announced new strategic, individual value-based care partnerships with Vori Health and HOPCo , in addition to the company’s existing partnership with TailorCare , to further advance quality of care and help optimize patient health outcomes for eligible individuals living with musculoskeletal conditions.
CareSource and ElderServe Health to strengthen long-term care for older adults and adults in New York
The New York Department of Health (NY DOH) has approved the affiliation between CareSource and ElderServe Health effective Sept. 1, 2025. In March 2025, the two organizations announced plans to seek an affiliation, subject to state regulatory approvals. With the NY DOH’s approval, the agreement can now move forward. As part of this transition, RiverSpring Living, the organization’s former parent company, will conclude its affiliation with ElderServe Health.

Aetna Expands Clinical Collaboration Program to Enhance Support for Hospitals and Provide Personalized Member Care
Aetna®, a CVS Health® company, announced it will scale the Aetna Clinical Collaboration (ACC) program to ten hospitals by year-end, with implementations underway with AdventHealth Shawnee Mission, Houston Methodist and WakeMed Health & Hospitals. The ACC program brings Aetna nurses together with hospital staff, working side-by-side to help Medicare Advantage members get the care and support they need to remain healthy when they return home from the hospital or make the transition into a skilled nursing facility.
