HIE Governance Town Halls – February 14, 2013, 3:00 – 4:30pm ET.
National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC) in cooperation with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) will present an open listening session on governance of health information exchange. Speakers will be Dr Farzad Mostashari and senior staff from the ONC. Registration is required and space is limited. These town halls will provide an opportunity for a wide range of stakeholders to describe their experience, practices, issues, priorities, and suggestions regarding HIE governance initiatives.

Stakeholder input from these listening sessions will inform ONC activities and assist in advancing governance goals of nationwide health information exchange: increase interoperability, decrease the cost and complexity of exchange, and increase trust among participants to mobilize trusted exchange to support patient care.

CMS National Provider Call – Wednesday, January 16 from 2-3:30pm ET
Call in to hear this CMS hosted call on Meaningful Use Stage 1 & 2. The session will provide an overview of the final rule and information about what you need to do to receive EHR incentive payments. CMS is encouraging hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), and eligible professionals to register and attend. The presentation documentation will be posted prior to the call on the FFS National Provider Calls web page. Registration is required to attend the call.

Registration will close at 12 pm on the day of the call or when available space has been filled; no exceptions will be made, so register early.
