May HIT Policy Meeting

Monthly HIT Policy Committee

The HIT Policy Committee will hold their monthly meeting tomorrow, May 11th, in Washington DC at 10am to 3pm EST. The meeting is open to the public both physically and virtually. The actual meeting will be at the Renasissance Washington DC Dupont Circle Hotel, 1143 New Hampshire Ave NW. Virtual participation can be by your computer, audio by phone, or watch and listen on your iPhone. Connection and participation information can be found on the ONC website.

The meeting agenda has been posted. New ONC Dr. Farzad Mostashari is scheduled to deliver opening remarks which has been the tradition of these meetings. New Chairman Paul Tang, taking over from Mostashari will begin the first agenda item coming from the Meaningful Use Workgroup: Stage 2 & Timing. Will there be a possible delay? The meeting is sure to add another piece to our puzzle.

Agenda and meeting materials can also be found on the ONC website.
