Following last Thursday’s announcement the 2020 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition in Orlando would be canceled due to reports from the World Health Organization and the CDC on the growing threat of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), HIMSS posted a notice on Friday plans to take aspects of the conference virtual.
Change is constant in our industry—and HIMSS20 is no exception. We’re planning a special virtual edition of the 2020 HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exhibition. But… we can’t do it without you. We’re calling on you, our Changemakers, to share the education sessions that interest you most so we can curate an impactful virtual experience. You are essential. You are the change.
We applaud this effort to move this important industry event forward in some capacity and see it as a real opportunity for us to pull together as a community to ensure the tremendous learning experience this conference brings each year to us all is preserved.
