Quality Health Network® (QHN), the Health Information Exchange (HIE) providing secure exchange of electronic health information for clinical quality improvement purposes in western Colorado, and eHealth Technologies™ (@eHealthTec) the leading provider of referral solutions incorporating image exchange solutions, announced they have successfully enabled Aspen Valley Hospital (AVH) to share diagnostic quality medical images with healthcare providers across western Colorado.

Indiana Health Information Exchange Selects Symedical® for Enhanced Terminology Management and Improved Interoperability
Clinical Architecture (@ClinicalArch), the leading innovator in healthcare terminology management technology, announced that the Indiana Health Information Exchange (IHIE) has selected Symedical®, a comprehensive terminology management software suite, for enhanced terminology management and improved interoperability. IHIE will use Symedical for content updates, advanced mapping and central control of terminology to drive interoperability improvements across its exchange.

Dedalus Enters U.S., Announces Strategic Partnership
As vendors across the U.S. struggle to build confidence around interoperability, Italy’s most influential health IT company believes they have the answer. Since 1990, Dedalus has been centrally focused on connecting health systems through the use of their vendor-neutral software, X1.V1. CEO Giorgio Moretti says that “drawing on Dedalus’ experience with similar challenges encountered in the States, we are confident that X1.V1 will enable the healthcare enterprise with the workflow and communication tools needed to achieve interoperability with efficiency and effectiveness.” Read press release.

The Digital Health Summer Summit: Highlights of the Transformation of Healthcare
The fourth annual Digital Health Summer Summit (@dhsummit), produced by Living in Digital Times and co-hosted by the Center for Digital Health Innovation at UCSF, brought together digital health innovators, entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, and influencers who shared solutions to some very vexing healthcare challenges. The two-day conference included a variety of educational panel sessions, a tour of three labs and an interactive digital playground. It took place on June 18-19th in San Francisco.

Rite Aid and HealthSpot Debut First Network of Telehealth Stations in Ohio
Rite Aid (@riteaid), one of the nation’s leading drugstore chains and HealthSpot® (@health_spot), a pioneer in patient and provider driven healthcare technology, announced the opening of HealthSpot stations inside 25 Rite Aid pharmacies in Ohio. Through the HealthSpot stations, customers will be able conveniently access a variety of quality healthcare services including pediatric care. The HealthSpot stations are located inside select Rite Aid pharmacies in Akron/Canton, Cleveland and Dayton/Springfield. Rite Aid and HealthSpot first announced their partnership in November 2014.

Growing network boosts Great Lakes Health Connect’s national stature Michigan’s largest health information exchange helps guide companies across country
Great Lakes Health Connect (GLHC) (@GLHC_HIE), the leading Health Information Exchange in Michigan, recently surpassed a goal to have 1,000 medical practices using its closed-loop Referrals application and will soon link 1,000 provider practices to the state’s immunization registry. This growth comes on the heels of the recent announcement that GLHC has surpassed 1 billion health information transactions annually, making it one of only a few health information exchanges in the country to achieve this kind of volume.

Orion Health Named a Leader in IDC Health Information Exchange MarketScape Report
