eHealth Exchange Survey Reveals Dramatic Increases in Participation and Online Transactions
Healtheway, the non-profit, public-private collaboration that operationally supports the eHealth Exchange (formerly known as the Nationwide Health Information Network Exchange), announced the results of its annual participation survey. The survey results show significant increases in participation in the eHealth Exchange as well as a surge in the number of secure online transactions taking place among the eHealth Exchange community participants.  Read press release.

Fletcher Allen Becomes First Hospital to Report Immunizations via the VHIE
Fletcher Allen Health Care is the first Vermont hospital to send immunization reports to the Vermont Immunization Registry via the Vermont Health Information Exchange (VHIE). The immunization interfaces went live in late January. With the addition of Fletcher Allen and its 17 affiliated physician practices, there are now 31 healthcare organizations connected to the registry via the VHIE.  Learn more about the Immunization Registry and VHIE.

HealthSpot Celebrates Launch of the Alliance for Connected Care
HealthSpot will join former United States Senate Majority Leaders Tom Daschle, Trent Lott and Senator John Breaux to participate in the launch of the Alliance for Connected Care, a diverse coalition of companies dedicated to patient access to care through advanced technology.  Read press release.

Black Book Names Allscripts Top HIE Vendor in User Satisfaction Survey
A survey conducted by research company Black Book Rankings has named Allscripts (NASDAQ: MDRX) dbMotion population health management software as the top healthcare information exchange solution for 2013 in the ambulatory and provider-centric segment.  Read press release.

Certify Data Systems Demonstrates Interoperability at Connectathon for Third Year in a Row
Certify Data Systems, Inc., a pioneer of rapidly deployable and scalable Health Information Exchange (HIE) systems, announced that HealthLogix™, its enterprise HIE platform, passed numerous Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) profile tests at the recent 2014 IHE North America Connectathon. Bridge Patient Portal Partners with X-Link for Improved Medical Software Interfacing
Leading healthcare portal software Bridge Patient Portal is announcing a partnership with the X-Link Solutions Network to improve Bridge’s access to the X-Link compatible EMR/EHR systems databases and to help the portal interface even more seamlessly with them.  Read press release.

State’s Largest Not-For-Profit Health Plan Joins Colorado Health Information Exchange
CORHIO, the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization, announced that Kaiser Permanente Colorado has signed an agreement to participate in the state-designated health information exchange (HIE) network. Participation in the CORHIO HIE provides Kaiser Permanente’s physicians and other clinical caregivers with additional information on their members when care is provided outside of the health plan’s centralized network.  Read press release.

NexJ Connected Wellness Connects to Massachusetts Health Information Exchange
NexJ Systems Inc. (TSX: NXJ), a provider of cloud-based software delivering enterprise solutions to the financial services, insurance, and healthcare industries, announced that NexJ, in collaboration with Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI) has successfully demonstrated the integration of NexJ Connected Wellness with the Massachusetts Health Information Highway (Mass HIway).  Read press release.
