Dr. Claire Neely Named CEO and President of ICSI
The Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) (@ICSIorg) Board of Directors announced that Claire S. Neely, MD has been named President and CEO, effective immediately. Dr. Neely has served as ICSI’s Chief Medical Officer since 2015 and has been with the organization since 2009. Along with her work as a healthcare leader over the past three decades, Neely maintained a practice in Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine for over thirty years and has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1995 and a board-certified Pediatrician since 1985.

WEDI Announces Slate of New 2019 Board of Directors
WEDI (@WEDIonline), the nation’s leading nonprofit authority on the use of health IT to create efficiencies in healthcare information exchange and a trusted advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced the election of five new board members to its Board of Directors, as well as the re-election of eight previous board members to serve two-year terms.
Head of IBM Watson Health leaving post after company stumbles, growing criticism
After a rocky three years as head of IBM’s health division, Deborah DiSanzo is leaving her role. A company spokesman told STAT that DiSanzo will no longer lead IBM Watson Health (@IBMWatsonHealth), the Cambridge-based division that has pitched the company’s famed artificial intelligence capabilities as solutions for a myriad of health challenges, like treating cancer and analyzing medical images.
