Important Meaningful Use deadlines

- February 28, 2015: last day to submit attestation to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for 2014. If you miss this deadline for your first year enrollment, you will no longer be eligible for the Medicare EHR Incentive Program.
- State Medicaid Programs – Be sure to check for any deadlines your State might have. For example, March 31, 2015 is the last day to initiate transfer from Medicare to Medicaid EHR Incentive Program (MEIP) in Minnesota. Go to the CMS Medicare & Medicaid EHR Incentive Program Registration and Attestation website to initiate the program transfer. If you miss this deadline, you will no longer be eligible to participate in the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program.
- July 3, 2015: Last day for eligible hospitals (EHs) to begin their 90-day reporting period to demonstrate meaningful use for fiscal year (FY) 2015 for Stage 1, year 1.
- October 3, 2015: Last day for eligible professionals (EPs) to begin 90-day reporting period for calendar year (CY) 2015 for Stage 1, year 1.

- PQRS – February 28, 2015: Last day to submit 2014 PQRS data through some reporting methods, such as EHR.
- PQRS – February 28, 2015: Last day 2014 claims will be processed to be counted for 2014 PQRS participation.
