This year’s CHIME Fall Forum took place in San Antonio this November. The theme was, Outlaws Wanted: Ride Into the Future of Digital Health, celebrating leaders who challenge conventions and push healthcare IT forward.
- Healthcare IT crossroads: The forum emphasizes that choices made today will define the future of care, innovation, and leadership.
- Community focus: It’s described as a homecoming for digital health leaders, a chance to challenge conventions, spark big ideas, and forge the next frontier
The CHIME Fall Forum was more than a conference, the strategic gathering of healthcare IT leaders focused on innovation, resilience, and patient-centered digital transformation. With its “Outlaws” theme, it called on leaders to break norms and drive bold change in healthcare. The week was filled with Texas flair, going western all the way from cowboy hat, to cowboy boots and oldies but great country music. It was filled with Texas fare, with Tex-Mex, BBQ, Cajun, Catfish, and what would be a Texas gathering without all you can eat Angus beef? A margarita anyone? Or do you prefer long necks? It did not disappoint.

Stay tuned next week as we report and breakdown more of the Forum event.

Shout out and congratulation to our friends at Heidi, a fast-growing healthcare AI company, for this year’s 2025 Foundation Partner of the Year award. As the recipient, Heidi demonstrated excellence in partnership, collaboration, and the use of technology to advance healthcare. Although the company only joined CHIME in 2025 and launched its AI scribe less than two years ago, Heidi stood out for its focus on designing solutions around the physician experience — driving higher satisfaction and adoption than competing AI scribes on the market.
