 SCL Health System’s Denver Hospitals Now Connected To The CORHIO Health Information Exchange (HIE) Network
CORHIO (@CORHIO), the Colorado Regional Health Information Organization, announced that SCL Health System’s three Denver-areas hospitals have successfully connected to its health information exchange (HIE) network. The three hospitals include Exempla Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, Exempla Lutheran Medical Center in Wheat Ridge and Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver. Combined, the hospitals provide care to more than 100,000 residents and last year reported more than 160,000 emergency room visits, over 400,000 outpatient visits and 45,000 inpatient hospitalizations.  Read press release.
