Largest Health Information Exchanges in Michigan Agree to Share Vital Health Records
More Michigan physicians and other healthcare providers than ever before will be able to share medical records electronically under an agreement between the Great Lakes Health Information Exchange and Michigan Health Connect.
The collaboration between the state’s two largest providers of health information exchange means that medical professionals treating about half the people in Michigan will have immediate access to vital medical information via a secure electronic network. Healthland Partners with InteliChart to Support Meaningful Use Stage 2 for Rural and Critical Access Hospitals
Healthland, the nation’s largest provider of integrated solutions to rural community and critical access hospitals, announced that they have partnered with InteliChart, leading provider of patient engagement and HIE technology, adding the InteliChart Patient Portal as its exclusive patient engagement solution. Healthland will integrate InteliChart’s 2014 ONC-certified patient portal with its electronic health records (EHR) solution designed for hospitals and ambulatory clinics. IDC Health Insights Arms Health Information Exchange Organizations with Guide to IT Consultants and Systems Integrators
IDC Health Insights announced the availability of a new report, Vendor Assessment: U.S. Health Information Exchange Organizations’ Guide to IT Consultants and System Integrators, (Doc #HI243455), which evaluates the largest IT consulting and systems integration services vendors to the U.S. health information organization (HIO) market.
