The Health IT Standards Committee is charged with making recommendations to the National Coordinator for Health IT on standards, implementation specifications, and certification criteria for the electronic exchange and use of health information.

Health IT Policy Committee #HITPC Interoperability & HIE Workgroup

The Interoperability and Health Information Exchange Workgroup will provide input and make recommendations on policy issues and opportunities to facilitate the sharing of health information electronically among providers and patients/caregivers, in support of care management, coordination and improvements in health.

#HITSC Implementation, Certification and Testing Workgroup convenes.
