NACCHO Annual 2013
Date: July 10-11, Dallas TX

The National Association of County and City Health Officials(NACCHO) will host its annual conference in Dallas this year under the theme “Public Health by the Numbers. Our Story. Our Time. Our Future.” This years conference will provide a venue for health officials and their public health partners to examine strategies, share ideas, and plan actions that can sustain or reinvent their organizations. Some of the sessions that may draw a lot of attention are the Putting the Practice in Practice-Based Participatory Research with Academic-Practice Partnerships, What Policymakers Need to Hear from Preparedness Practitioners about Community Engagement and Using Data to Paint the Budget Picture of Local Health Departments to Policymakers. The World Congress 3rd Annual Leadership Summit on Medicaid
Date: July 15-17, Arlington VA

Medicaid is expanding year after year and this conference will seek to discuss the challenges and solutions for this development.
