It is interesting to hear that one of the key learning points from competing at such a high level was the importance of understanding that anything is possible. Some might hear this as “there are no limits, only those in you own mind”, but Jennifer’s take is slightly different:

Don’ be afraid to fail

This is a recurring theme in Incremental steps in design towards success with failure clearly on this path. There were other aspects to training and competition that included the importance of teamwork and the importance of the team and the discovery that the most challenging endeavors are also the most rewarding.

You can hear how she arrived at the point of forming the Digital Medicine Society that included initial rejection of the idea and the her clear and concise definition of what Digital Medicine is:

  • High quality hardware and software
  • Evidence Based
  • Measures health or offers intervention

Listen in to hear the details behind these elements, what differentiates Digital Medicine from Digital Health and why your participation is essential. As you will hear the time is now and Digital Medicine is the future and the Digital Medicine Society needs everyone’s involvement to help build it right.
