Human API collaborates with CMS to launch new FHIR-based API for 53 million Medicare patients
As digital health care evolves, data becomes an important resource that patients can use to improve health outcomes for themselves, and as part of research groups. This has driven the need for easier data interoperability and the development of new patient-centric data sharing models. This week at HIMSS 2018, Human API (@Human_API), the largest patient-centric health data network, announced a collaboration with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to make the new CMS Blue Button 2.0 API available through the Human API data network. Hyland to acquire OneContent business from Allscripts
Hyland (@hylandhas signed a definitive agreement to acquire the OneContent business from Allscripts, a provider of healthcare information technology solutions. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter, once customary closing conditions are satisfied. Upon transaction close, the OneContent client base and associates will transition to Hyland.
