August Calhoun, Ph.D. has joined Truven Health Analytics (@TruvenHealth) as senior vice president and general manager of Provider Solutions. In his new role, Dr. Calhoun will oversee the financial and business performance of the company’s global Provider Solutions business, which encompasses Truven Health’s hospital, clinician and population health service lines, and leading brands such as ActionOI®, Micromedex®, CareDiscovery®, Care Comparison, MarketDiscovery Planning, 360 Care Insights and Truven Health Unify.

Leading Digital Care Innovator Dr. Danny Sands, MPH, FACP, Joins Conversa Health as Chief Medical Officer
Conversa Health (@conversahealth), developer of the Digital Checkups™ platform that supports physician-patient collaboration, named Dr. Danny Sands, MPH, FACP, as Chief Medical Officer. A well-known speaker and co-founder of the Society for Participatory Medicine, Dr. Sands is passionate about the opportunities to transform health care through non-visit-based care. He has spent over two decades improving care delivery by leveraging both patient-facing and provider clinical systems. He will report to Conversa Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer Dr. Phillip Marshall.

Remedy Informatics Welcomes Dr. Scott Howard as New Chief Medical Officer
Remedy Informatics, the leading provider of registry-based clinical informatics software for healthcare delivery and life sciences research, announced that Scott C. Howard, MD, MSc, will join the company’s executive team as Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Howard comes to Remedy from St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital where he was a professor and Director of Clinical Trials for St. Jude’s International Outreach Program. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is an internationally recognized leader in research and treatment for children with cancer.

Ronald Ho Joins Delphinus’ Board of Directors
Delphinus Medical Technologies, Inc., innovator and developer of SoftVue™, a new ultrasound platform that images the entire breast, announced that Ron Ho has joined their Board of Directors. Mr. Ho’s accomplished career has included multiple executive positions spanning over 20 years within the medical imaging industry, predominantly in ultrasound. He was President and Chief Executive Officer of U-Systems, developer of the somo•V automated whole breast ultrasound system. During his tenure, the company achieved the first and only FDA approval for a breast ultrasound screening indication. Following this, Mr. Ho directed U-Systems through the strategic and successful acquisition by GE Healthcare.
