The Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (@WEDIonline), the nation’s leading nonprofit authority on the use of health IT to create efficiencies in healthcare information exchange and a statutory advisor to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), wrapped up their WEDI National Conference 2018 yesterday at the Crystal Gateway Marriott in Arlington, Va. Headlining the event were several health care and policy thought-leaders including Dr. Donald Rucker, national coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC), who offered insights on administrative health IT policies and also addressed patient matching and administrative simplification.
