Software and services company Signet Accel announced the official launch of Avec™, its commercial federated data integration platform delivering true interoperability to healthcare. Signet Accel will debut Avec™ at HIMSS16. Signet Accel’s proven platform, Avec™, was created at The Ohio State University in collaboration with investigators and technologists on an international scale. The platform was developed and perfected with an investment of more than 13 years and 20 million dollars. It was purpose-built to deliver true interoperability to healthcare.

Mass-based Ivenix will debut the latest in smartphone technology hospital infusion management during the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase at HIMSS16. The Ivenix Infusion Management System will be featured in live, real-world clinical use cases with leading electronic medical record (EMR) and Health IT vendors. Demonstrations will feature interoperability with other information systems – managing patient-specific infusion orders to integrate data seamlessly to the patient record. The system was developed in collaboration with clinicians to improve patient safety and workflow efficiency.
